Board of Directors

Leigh Davis-Schimdt

Board Member

Leigh has always been very passionate about saving animals, fighting hunger, and promoting literacy. This has led her to volunteer at various animal welfare agencies and the Utah Food Bank. She also has established a Little Free Library in her community and donated books to schools and students in low-income areas.

As a mother, Leigh has become more and more aware of the prevalence of human trafficking in the world and it scares her that it’s a very real possibility her daughter or one of her daughter’s friends could become a victim of human trafficking. It is for this reason, Leigh has been motivated to become a Board Member with Freedom Light, Inc. (“Freedom Light”). She believes there is more that can be done to prevent human trafficking and that Freedom Light can help bring this about through its mission to develop and advocate for legislation, regulations, and government programs to combat human trafficking and by educating the public and private sectors about human trafficking and prevention.
Leigh brings two decades of compliance and corporate governance experience to the Board of Freedom Light and is ready to make the world a safer place for everyone.
